Help with Seam

The drop-down doesn't open when I drag files
Drag the files toward Seam's icon in the menu bar and hold them under it for a moment. A small callout appears; keep holding and the drop-down opens. To file into the suggested folder straight away, drop on the callout. Folders appear in the drop-down after you add them in Settings › Destinations.
macOS asks whether Seam may control Chrome, Safari, or Finder
To arrange those apps' windows, Seam needs your permission, and macOS asks once per app. Click Allow. To change your answer later, open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Automation and find Seam.
A window in another app doesn't move
For apps other than Chrome, Safari, and Finder, Seam needs its companion Shortcut. Open Seam's Settings › Windows and click Add the Shortcut. Shortcuts opens and shows its steps; click Add Shortcut, then return to Seam. Keep the Shortcut's name, Seam Move Window, so Seam can find it.
Windows snap when I don't want them to
Seam docks a window only while you hold the dock key, Shift unless you change it. Choose another key under Settings › Windows › Docking, in the Dock while holding menu, or turn docking off there.
How do I put a file back?
Click Undo in the drop-down, or open the History window and undo any move from the list. Undo, History, and Settings work even after the trial ends. Seam never deletes files; a file it replaced is in the Trash.
How do I save and restore a layout?
In the drop-down, click an empty number in the Layouts row to save where your open windows are. Click that number later to put them back. Control-click a number to replace or clear it. With layout shortcuts on in Settings › Windows, Control-Option-1 to 6 restores a layout and adding Shift saves one.
How do I unlock Seam on another Mac?
Open Seam's Settings › General and click Restore Purchases. Sign in with the Apple Account you unlocked Seam with if macOS asks. Family Sharing members get Seam through their family's account.
What does Seam need?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Seam is sold on the Mac App Store, free for 14 days and then $9.99 once.
